Last month, Huawei has confirmed the release of EMUI 9.0 with Android 9.0 Pie software update and also disclosed the for lists of eligible smartphones. The devices are Mate 10 / 10 Pro, P20 / P20 Pro, Honor 10, Honor View 10 and Honor Play. As promised, Huawei has started to push the EMUI 9.0 beta update for Honor View 10 Indian unit.
This beta roll out has been confirmed by the user who shared the screenshot on the twitter page. If you’ve already signed up for the beta program, then you are eligible to receive this update. The EMUI 9.0 (Android 9.0 Pie) beta update arrives with following version number BKL-L09 126.96.36.199 (C675E1R1P9log). The screenshot reveals the weigh of this software update as 3.92 GB, which is very large. So you can download this firmware file using WiFi connection only.
Huawei claims, compared to current EMUI 8, the all new EMUI 9.0 improves the performance by 12.9% and app loading time by 10%. It also features GPU Turbo 2.0, Password Vault, October security patch, SmartCare with AI learning, nature sound, natural UX with natural color, deep integration of Paytm, new local language support and so on.
Along with that it also adds the Android 9.0 Pie features like gesture navigation, redesigned volume slider, Battery saver with machine learning, revamped settings UI and more. If you are an existing beta tester you can download this update as OTA from Settings menu. Otherwise, you want to wait for the few weeks or even months to receive the stable update.
