Huawei’s flagship mobiles Mate 10 and Mate 10 Pro are started to receive new software update. However this firmware update is now rolling out for Chinese units only – ALP-AL00 and BLA-AL00. Both models are receiving the update in same software version 184.108.40.206 (SP1C00). Unfortunately the software package didn’t bring any new features it will just perform optimizations and bug fixes. We’ve also got the detailed changelog of this update.

Camera and Navigation clock optimization
Enhances the Beauty mode feature by including special touch effects to photograph based on genders
Accessibility of navigation clock has been optimized. Now it will be available on ultra power saving mode and notification panel
Power consumption by third party apps has been optimized to deliver the more usage time
It will make the status bar operations easier and also supports tap to return to the call screen feature
Improves the receiving speed of WeChat lucky money
Optimizes the speed of same network environment

WLAN with strong signal connectivity issue has been fixed
Solved automatic time zone update issue for carrier SIMs that having multiple time zones
It fixes the music pausing issue that has been played via bluetooth in cars
Kaiseda K8 lock connectivity issues has been solved
Black screen issue faced by many users when opening the camera app. This major bug will be fixed by this update
That’s all the changes they’ve revealed through the release notes. Huawei is now seeding this update for to Mate 10 and Mate 10 Pro (Chinese variants) via OTA. If you lives in China and own any of these smartphones, then check for the software updates. The manufacturer didn’t reveal any plans about the roll out this update for international models.
