Huawei has released a new smartphone in Mate series for U.S market which named as Huawei Mate SE. It is the rebranded and upgraded variant of Honor 7X which is already available to buy in U.S. Recently the U.S government reported that the Huawei mobile is stealing the privacy of users in the background. But some users are opposing this report and trusting the Huawei mobiles didn’t lead us to privacy risk.
In between this issue, Huawei has launched its Mate SE (unlocked) smartphone in U.S. Right now the handset is available in U.S with $20 offer and major retailers like Amazon, Best Buy and B&H are having the stock. It comes in two attractive colors grey and gold.
Huawei Mate SE Specs:
In Mate SE they have used Huawei logo (instead of honor) and also done changes in RAM & storage. Apart from this most of the specs (including design) are similar to Honor 7X. Let’s see an overview about the specs – 5.93-inch FHD+ display, 18:9 ratio FullView display, running on android nougat os with EMUI 5.1, hybrid dual sim slot, uses Huawei’s Kirin 659 chipset and 2.36 GHz octa core processor.
The RAM and internal memory have been bumped to 4GB and 64GB. Still you can expand the storage by swapping the second sim slot with microSD card. At back it sports dual cameras 16MP + 2MP and also has 8MP single camera lens at front.
Other preloaded features are fingerprint, Wifi, bluetooth, 4G LTE (Cat6 speed), GPS and more. It packed with 3340 mAh non-removable battery which can stand-by for a day. This unlocked smartphone will work GSM networks of AT&T and T-Mobile.
