Back in MWC 2019 event, Samsung has showcased its first 5G smartphone in S10 series and named it as Galaxy S10 5G. In addition to that they’ve also launched three new devices S10, S10 Plus and S10e, which also available to buy in many countries. Now the manufacturer has tipped about the pricing and release date of Galaxy S10 5G handset. Samsung will start the roll out in Korea from April 5, afterwards they will increase the availability of this device to more countries.
The launch price of S10 5G for 8GB + 256GB variant is 1,397,000 KRW (Rs.85,240 / $1230 USD) and the 8GB + 512GB variant priced at 1,556,500 KRW (Rs.94,970 / $1370 USD). They’ve also revealed some new color options of this device Majestic Black, Crown Silver and Royal Gold.
To recall, Samsung Galaxy S10 5G features 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED display with Quad HD+ resolution, HDR10+ compliant and the front and back portions are covered by corning gorilla glass 6. It powered by top-end Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 (For US, LATAM) and Exynos 9820 (For EMEA) chipset. It runs on android 9 pie os with Samsung One UI skin on top. As i have mentioned above, it comes in two variants 8GB RAM with 256GB and 512GB storage, it doesn’t have expandable memory slot.
At back it houses quad camera system 12MP + 12MP + 16MP + 3D Depth sensor and at front it has dual cameras 10MP + 3D Depth sensor embedded within display. Other exciting features are ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor, face unlock, IP68 water & dust proof, Dolby atmos, NFC, Bluetooth 5.0, 5G connectivity, Type-C USB 3.1 and so on. Talking about battery, it packed with 4500 mAh non-removable one which compatible with 25W super fast charge and PMA / WPC wireless fast charge.
