Today Sony has added a new flagship smartphone in its XZ2 lineup, which has been named as Xperia XZ2 Premium. In other words we can say it’s the successor version of Xperia XZ Premium that was launched in February 2017. Unlike XZ2 and XZ2 Compact (debuted at MWC 2018), this new premium smartphone arrives with dual camera lens at back side.
Sony has officially confirmed this device launch through its press release. However the manufacturer didn’t reveal the price and exact release date of this smartphone. They were hinted that this Xperia XZ2 Premium mobile will release in summer 2018.
Sony Xperia XZ2 Premium features 5.8-Inch Triluminos HDR display with 4K (2160 x 3840) screen resolution. They’ve made this handset with aluminum metal and covered with 3D curved corning gorilla glass (5th gen). The company affirms this smartphone will arrive with android 8.0 as pre-installed os. This premium model equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset and octa core processor.
The memory options are 6GB RAM, 64GB UFS storage and also has expandable microSD card slot. Talking about camera, it houses 13MP front facing camera with that you can take shake-free shots, low light photos/videos with improved ISO and more. At the back side, this handset has dual cameras 19MP + 12MP, the first one is Motion Eye camera and the second one is for Black & White shots.
The rear camera features AUBE fusion image processor, 4K HDR video recording, super slow motion video, bokeh mode, 5-axis stabilization and more. It comes with back mounted fingerprint key and also has front mounted dual stereo speakers. Other preloaded features are IP65/68 water proof, NFC, Bluetooth 5.0, 4G LTE with 1.2 Gbps download speed, Type-C USB (3.1 Gen 1), S-Force surround sound and more are there.
This xperia xz2 premium device will be powered by 3450 mAh non-removable battery. It also compatible with Quick charge 3.0 and Qi wireless charging technology. It will be available in two colors chrome black and chrome silver.
