Back in July, Samsung has launched Galaxy On6 (rebranded version of Galaxy J6) mid-budget smartphone in India. Few weeks back we’ve updated about the launch of Galaxy On8 (2018) in our social pages. As expected, today Samsung has officially added the new Galaxy On8 (2018) handset in its Galaxy On series. It’s the rebranded model of Galaxy J8, except rename the design and specs are similar.
Like Galaxy On6, this handset has been launched as online exclusive and will be available only at flipkart and Samsung online e-Shop retailers. On August 6, Samsung has scheduled to bring this galaxy on8 for sale in India for the price of Rs. 16,990. The available color options are black and blue.
Coming to specifications, the Galaxy On8 features 6-inch HD+ Infinity display, 18.5:9 aspect ratio, dual nano sim slot, running on android oreo os (customized by Samsung Experience UI 9.0), equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 chipset and 1.8 GHz octa core processor. It has 4GB of RAM, 64GB of vast internal storage, in addition to that it also houses dedicated slot for microSD card slot (up to 256GB).
Talking to camera part, it has 16MP + 5MP dual main camera lens which features live focus, portrait backdrop, portrait dolly, background blur shape, 1080p video recording, live stickers, and more. At front it has 16MP selfie camera with LED flash, they’ve also embedded the face unlock system with front camera.
Other preloaded features are fingerprint (back mounted), WiFi, Bluetooth 4.2 with ANT+, 4G LTE, Micro USB 2.0, GPS and so on. It comes with 3500 mAh non-removable battery that will be compatible with fast charging technology.
